- “Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) is a “$4 billion Federal funding initiative that supports municipalities to create the conditions for additional housing supply to be delivered at an accelerated pace”. Regina may receive up to $35 million funding with stipulations based on multi-unit dwellings in current residential zones – i.e. pending risks and concerns about safety, property values, parking, etc.
- Regina must accept all HAF federal stipulations by September 2024 to receive federal funding.
